An essential part of most modern dogs lives, grooming can cost you stress and unnecessary costs in the future if your dog is untrained and anxious in an unfamiliar environment.

Puppy University is a great package for puppies (6 months and younger) to build on socialisation, nail clipping right through to a full groom. A puppy’s first visit to the groomer can take place 2 weeks after their second set of puppy vaccinations.

Our introductory sessions will encourage your puppy to become familiar with baths, blow drys, grooming sessions, being handled by people, the noises of grooming equipment, and extra services including nail clipping, ear cleaning and feet and face trimming.

Hand stripping is the process of manually pulling out the dead top coat. This allows for the fresh coat to grow in and help to maintain the colour and texture of the coat.

This method is common in the Terrier group (wire coat) and silky Gundogs type coats (Spaniels)

Dogs must have a suitable coat, temperament and condition for hand stripping. Commonly neutered dogs may not be suitable for hand stripping as changes in hormones can affect the coat. Hand stripping should be done on a 4-12 weekly basis but will depend on the individual coat, temperament and condition of the dog.

Specially designed for dogs that are prone to heavy shedding. This treatment includes a bath with deshedding shampoo and deshedding session with specialist tools that have been developed to remove undercoat hair efficiently and painlessly.

How it works
